about

Introducing to the SINE roster, minimal mastermind ABLE. A fan of spicy saag's and equally spicy basslines, his production has seen him quickly climb the drum and bass ladder, reaching the Critical Music rung last year with the exceptional Pillar To Post EP. Previous releases on Critical's Binary series, Monk Audio and Bowlcut Beats have showcased his matchless style, focusing his production on meticulously crafted individual elements that come together to form an earth-shattering whole. His twisted 'End Fate EP' on SINE Audio is a masterclass in minimal drum and bass executed with his own personal ABLE twist.

EP intro and title track 'End Fate' speaks for itself. A 16th note vibrating bass synth is the focal point of this dancefloor rumbler, mutating its way through the duration with various rhythmic progressions and precisely executed FX. Hold tight the cowbell as well.

Funk is in the air with 'For Weekend', a track that fuses a squared off, minimal style with a groovy bassline reminiscent of the likes of Sofa Sound specialist DLR. Locked and loaded for double drop potential or potent enough on its own, we can't wait to see this one continue to rip through the rave scene with force.

'Leaps And Bounds' certainly depicts ABLE's journey since he first jumped into the scene in 2019, and the tune exemplifies this. Scattering high hats, a signature call-and-response style bass and FX that pan around your eardrums combine to make this a gun-finger worthy rave weapon.

This is how you make an intro… 'Can't Deal' opens with something resembling a doomsday siren, stretching on beyond imagination and acting as a forewarning for what's to come. A groove-laden bass carries you through the drop alongside snappy drums, incomprehensible vocal samples, and sullen atmospheres. We'll be using this one in set intros for years to come.
