There is no better way to introduce this unity of sound than with the creeping title track 'Karate Style', full of bass stabs, rattling subs and vibey vocal samples. Best described as a stealthy Bristol-style roller, it quickly drops into a deadly sub-line, with weighty drums that perfectly encapsulate both producers signature style.

Stepping up for his solo track of the release is Polarized with 'Transparency', a track that stands as perhaps the heaviest of the whole release. Opening with droning atmospherics, we are soon teased with glimpses of the gargantuan bassline that takes the spotlight throughout the tune, guided by snappy driving drums and rolling percussion.

For the second collaborative tune, Polarized and J:Rover team up with Bristol-based MC Weaver on 'The Force'. This is a murky, sub-low tune that perfectly balances Weaver's unique flow and wordplay with subtly screeching synths, crunchy bass edits and a minimal drum groove. This one is perfect for those mid-set blends or a quick unexpected switch-up.

'Unfinished Business' is an apt name for J:Rover's solo effort and final track for the EP, as there is certainly much more to be heard from this talented new producer. Packed with groove, yet again we are met with pure bass weight, swung percussive elements and vocal samples to set the tone. Watch the progression in this one, with the second drop introducing further wonky bass sounds into the mix.
