Marking the first in our series of remixes for Dopplershift and Stokka's 'Don't Look Back' EP is Trust Audio bossman Trex, with his electric spin on 'Take Control'.

It's a remix that's as weighty as it is refined, skilfully turning each element on its head to fashion a whole new beast. Perhaps the most obvious switch-up is the drums, with Trex utilising his signature snappy hits with a stepping rhythm and a snare that continues to slap you in the eardrums throughout its five-minute duration. The pulsating bass from the original is chopped, twisted, and warped, helping to transport the tune into new, previously undiscovered realms. Year of the Trex...
